39:52 it’s it’s a good time to have that
39:54 discussion with your
39:55 family doctor or your neurologist about
39:58 better prevention with a cgrp
40:02 okay let me see if i’ve missed any
40:08 questions
40:10 and the question for the blood pressure
40:12 um i’m not sure if i answered it but
40:14 yes if you have blood pressure
40:16 conditions uh it’s a very good
40:18 idea to make sure that this
40:21 is um control
40:30 let me see
40:45 okay okay i’m i’m not sure if i’ve
40:49 missed anything if i have missed a
40:51 question i’m
40:52 really really um sorry um
40:59 hormones and migraine i’m not sure if
41:01 this is a question we know for sure
41:03 that there is a link between migraine
41:06 and
41:06 hormones and that’s why the prevalence
41:08 in women is much
41:10 uh higher than it is in men
41:13 in childhood 10 of children boys and
41:16 girls get the same amount of headaches
41:18 but then at puberty more women
41:21 like it becomes 25 of women and it’s
41:24 only eight percent of men so definitely
41:26 there’s a hormonal
41:27 um part and of course
41:30 if you don’t know this sometimes um
41:33 changing your contraceptive pill
41:37 sometimes does have a an effect uh if
41:39 you’re
41:40 having migraine with aura just always
41:42 always remember
41:43 remember that you have to be on a
41:44 progestin only pill
41:46 and the third thing that i would like to
41:48 say is going continuous without a break
41:51 does help a lot and if you’re
41:54 if you can predict your migraine uh with
41:57 your menstrual cycle or
41:59 if you can if you know exactly you have
42:00 hormonal migraine that you can predict
42:02 you can always prevent it either by
42:04 taking an nsaid
42:06 two days before the start of the
42:08 migraine that is expected with your
42:10 period
42:10 if it happens when your period starts or
42:13 you can actually
42:15 go for a long-acting triptan that stays
42:18 in the body and you can take it again
42:20 two days before you start your period
42:22 and up to five days to prevent a
42:24 migraine
42:25 um have i finished my five minutes i’m
42:29 not sure hormonal migraines
42:31 and you get from bilateral disc
42:33 herniation i’m really sorry victoria
42:36 um yes hormonal migraine
42:39 headaches are really not fun
42:42 um but the best thing that we can do
42:46 is um find out
42:49 as i said if you keep a diary and we’re
42:51 able to see
42:53 uh what triggers then we can start
42:55 working on our
42:57 um and reducing our other triggers
43:00 so that at least the migraine is not as
43:04 severe and is not it does not last as
43:07 long
43:10 what as she said bilateral disc
43:12 herniation
43:13 of course it’s very important for us to
43:16 not
43:16 forget that there are other uh
43:18 professions that are very important
43:21 you know get a good chiropractor get a
43:23 good nurse practitioner
43:25 yeah a good pharmacist you need a team
43:29 because this condition is not one
43:32 faceted it’s multifaceted and affects
43:34 a lot of you know it
43:38 it does have an effect that is really
43:42 touching on a lot of organs and a lot of
43:45 conditions um have i
43:48 [Music]
43:51 compound pharmacists i’m not sure is
43:53 made into a cream for children who will
43:55 not take
43:56 can acute medications um be made into a
44:00 cream for children who will not take
44:01 oral meds
44:04 i’m wondering what you mean natanya
44:11 if you can just tell me how long should
44:13 you give a medication before stopping it
44:15 and moving into another one
