Presented by: Annie Ledoux, occupational therapist, MSc, Migraine Quebec’s Instructor.
Learn what OT is, how it applies to migraine treatment, and the ways it can support you in reclaiming control over your daily activities. This session will also cover practical tips for finding an OT practitioner experienced in migraine care.
Annie Ledoux has been an occupational therapist since 2009, specializing in supporting adults with physical and mental health challenges, including chronic pain. When chronic migraines became part of her life, Annie had to rethink her approach to managing the condition.
Since 2016, Annie has been actively involved with Migraine Québec, where she leads support groups and contributes to the organization’s development. In 2022, she co-created the Self-Management Approach (la Démarche d’autogestion de la migraine) and continues to facilitate its workshops. She also plays a key role in workplace initiatives addressing the impact of migraine. Annie’s work focuses on preventing chronicity, helping individuals stay engaged in meaningful activities and work, and improving their quality of life despite migraine.
