0:00 did you ever talk about your migrant at
0:02 work uh no as a man usually you don’t
0:05 want to display that you are weak I
0:07 didn’t talk about my migrant it took me
0:09 many years to start talking about it at
0:11 the
0:14 workplace I do frequently experience
0:17 migraines at work because I feel like
0:20 I’m always at work so yes I lot of
0:22 migraine at work I don’t want people to
0:24 know that know I have a migraine I
0:25 pretend I have nothing and after a while
0:27 like two three hours I can’t stand it
0:29 anymore I have to go I don’t want to be
0:31 seen as a weak colleague or not being
0:34 able to provide the performance that is
0:36 required and then when I have to go I
0:38 come home and then I just go to bed and
0:40 sleep and vomit sometime it’s a general
0:43 conception like men have to endure
0:46 everything I think it’s not fair there
0:48 is a very big stigma in society with
0:52 employers as well they don’t understand
0:54 that we want to work and we want to
0:56 perform I wish people knew that it it’s
1:00 really not because I wanted to have a SI
1:03 day and I wish I would be at work with
1:05 them I certainly didn’t hesitate to talk
1:09 about the fact that I had migraine
1:11 disease to co-workers so I think
1:13 educating a lot of the workplace that’s
1:16 going to lead to transformation and
1:18 acceptance I think if people understand
1:21 that they’re more sympathetic have
1:23 employee that has migraine it’s okay
1:25 because I know they’re going to fill the
1:27 blank after when it’s it’s better or I
1:30 can feel for them flexibility is key
1:33 working from home has been extremely
1:35 beneficial at work having a short nap
1:37 from time to time helps a lot so just
1:40 sitting down allowing uh the medication
1:42 to work is actually going to help me
1:44 finish my day where I won’t have to
1:46 leave work early and no one else is
1:48 going to have to do uh my job and it
1:50 would make it much more acceptable for
1:52 the employee for the employer and for
1:54 the family members when you come home
