0:02 popping pills and I felt bad about it I
0:05 always took medication but I wasn’t shy
0:08 about it I knew I was taking so many
0:11 pills I tried once medication and the
0:13 side effects was too much so I I decided
0:16 to stop and I was losing hope that
0:18 nothing was going to
0:20 work what were like the big habits you
0:24 kind of changed how much caffeine I
0:26 would drink marinated Foods fermented
0:29 foods spicy food vinegar better sleeping
0:32 hygiene we have lights that we can
0:34 actually control the intensity at home I
0:36 try to sleep better because it helps I
0:39 discovered yoga which does help any
0:41 alcohol at all reducing the red wine I
0:44 don’t drink any more a red wine I used
0:47 to love sangria there is white sangria
0:49 it’s not the same for me I prer the red
0:53 when I was a teenager I had some
0:56 prescribed medication those were the
0:58 tripin literally the only thing that
1:01 worked I have decided to uh take
1:04 medication on a daily basis to minimize
1:06 the amount of migraine attacks that I
1:08 have every month now that I have found
1:11 certain pills that do work I actually do
1:14 love them but I do not want to have to
1:15 take all of these pills forever I
1:17 stopped taking pills and I try to endure
1:21 the pain did you try medication I tried
1:24 once but it was worse than just let let
1:27 the migraine go recently I started a a
1:30 preventive form of medication which
1:32 consists of an injection that you give
1:34 yourself every month very recently there
1:36 was this new medication that is an
1:38 injection and that is a a game changer
1:41 for me it has completely changed my life
1:45 I have no more migraine attack or even
1:48 very little of it I Now understand what
1:50 it is to not be in pain every single day
1:54 of your life there’s a treatment for
1:56 migraines which is taking Botox I get
1:59 one every 3 months forehead and then
2:03 certain places around my head here it
2:05 has made a tremendous difference I think
2:08 it’s people every people choices because
2:10 sometime to go on with your life you
2:13 might not have the the choice that you
2:14 take medication a person can get control
2:18 of the situation but it’s important to
2:21 have a neurologist
