Migraine Canada is thrilled to announce the launch of its very first peer-led support group! This pilot program is designed to offer a safe, inclusive space for individuals living with migraine to connect, share, and support one another.
Group meetings will be held on the last Monday of every month. The first group, led by peer facilitator Natanya Mandel, will meet on October 28 at 7:00 PM ET.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: The registration link for each month’s meeting will be provided in our mid-month community bulletin. Join our community to stay up to date on upcoming registration opportunities!
Each group is limited to 15 participants, any additional registrants will be added to a waitlist.
What to Expect:
- A safe and non-judgmental space to share your experiences
- Opportunities to connect with others who understand life with migraine
- Helpful resources and practical tips for managing migraine
- Support from a peer leader with lived experience
Our goal is to foster meaningful connections, provide valuable resources, and empower participants to share their stories and advice. While this group is starting as a pilot, we hope it becomes an essential part of our community’s support network.
We plan to expand the program following a few months of the pilot. We appreciate your patience as we pilot the first few sessions and fine tune the program to ensure we deliver a program that is valuable and helpful to community members.
